Cablevision will try to convince the Supreme Court to take on the FCC’s must-carry policies, Multichannel News reports.
The cable operator lost on the issue in the Second Circuit, which upheld the FCC’s ruling that Cablevision was obligated to carry WRNN in some Long Island areas.
Cablevision will argue that there is sufficient competition to make the FCC’s must-carry policies no longer necessary.
