There will be a new actor in the role of Tucker McCall on CBS’ "The Young & the Restless" come Jan. 27, reports TV Guide.
Soap veteran Stephen Nichols, previously of NBC’s "Days of Our Lives" and ABC’s "General Hospital," will replace William Russ, who has been playing the role for the past month but was bounced because the producers have decided to take the character in another direction.

My husband and I are extremely tired of the sappy story line that lets Adam get away with the evilness indefinitely. This is boring. We are sure it will all come out but we may not be around to see it.

I love William Russ in this role….There is lots of chemistry between Jess Walton and William Russ. Although I have nothing against the new actor….Big mistake on Y & R’s part to let go of such a talented actor. I loved him in Wiseguy and he made me want to watch Y & R again. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am….

Since the baby swith I haven’t watch it all that much anymore. I’m tired of Adam getting away with all the schemes he’s been pulling and won’t be surprise if Adam and Sharon gets married. Lately The Y&R cast has been writting poor stuff. If they would read the viewers comments maybe that would help to make the show a number one. If Adam and Sharon does get married then I will never watch the young and the restless again. Hope they fix the baby issue soon. Hey producers if you don’t know how to fix the baby issue why doesn’t Sharon and Ashley received a letter that mentions the baby switch. Let see Adam tried to get himself out of that one.

i read that they might have Sheila as Kay’s daughter please tell me this is a rumor becasue Sheila is to young and how many times does she have to die .enough already
I thought William Russ was perfect as Tucker McCall. He was a fresh face and personality not a recycled one! Y&R needs a new face to play Katherine’s son. Russ was rough and edgy BUT with an underlying sense of caring in his voice when talking about being her son. I honestly don’t think I will watch if I have to watch PATCH trying to play Tucker! It is like fingernails on a chaulkboard!! BRING BACK BILL!!!!
