Comcast has extended the contract of one of its top executives an additional four years in a deal that could be worth up to $20 million, according to an 8-K filing the company made with the SEC.

Comcast COO Steve Burke,  a key member of the Comcast management team, had a contract that was set to expire at the end of next year. His new contract expires at the end of 2014.

In his new deal his annual salary and annual bonus are  the same as in his contract that was set to expire next year.
