PBS Signs Up for More Detailed Nielsen Ratings

PBS has for the first time signed up for weekly ratings data from Nielsen, the New York Times reports.

In the past, the public broadcaster has only received monthly reports; now it will get weekly ratings, but not overnights.

PBS hopes the more detailed ratings will make it easier to entice corporate sponsors to support its shows.
