PTC Objects to ‘American Dad’ Episode

The Parents Television Council has taken exception to behavior depicted on Sunday’s episode of Fox’s animated series "American Dad," reports Mediaweek.

The episode feature a sequence depicting a character seeming to sexually pleasure a racehorse before a race, the PTC said.

“A broadcast television network aired an animated program on a Sunday evening when children were in the audience, and the program featured a man masturbating a horse," the publication quoted PTC President Tim Winter as saying. "Up until now, I never imagined that those exact words could ever be spoken in that particular order.  But sadly, here we are.”

The PTC is urging viewers who were offended to file complaints with the FCC.

Fox declined to comment, Mediaweek said.

  1. Its called freedom of speech! These dumb organizations made by soccer moms need to learn how to use technology and block the program…or be a better parent!

Also aired was a large TV-14 rating icon in the upper left-hand corner of the screen for several seconds during the program open. At that point, any responsible parent (RESPONSIBLE being the operative word here!) with children who are, (due to being under the age of 14,) unfamiliar with masturbation would have either turned the channel or made the children under the age of 14 leave the room. It sounds to me like either Tim Winter is an irresponsible parent, or he wants to control what I get to watch on my television set in my home. Which one is it Mr.Winter?!?!?
American Dad is hilarious entertainment for those whose tastes and ages fall into their desired demographic.

  3. High quality info here! Keep up the great work. I love the feelings being expressed.
