Betty White Throws It Back to Lorne Michaels

The Facebook campaign to get Betty White to host "Saturday Night Light" has reached the veteran actress and she’s stunned by the online support, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The 88-year-old "Golden Girls" star said that she is up to the challenge, but the ultimate decision rests with "SNL" producer Lorne Michaels. It’s coming up with a musical guest that’ll be tough for White; she has a long wish list.

  1. With such strong support, SNL would be foolish NOT to do this. It could end up being their highest rated episode of the season, and think about the skits, such as a Golden Girls spoof, as well as a Password spoof.

  2. Uh, it’s “Saturday Night Live.”
