‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Scores Thursday Night for ABC

ABC had a winning Thursday night in the Nielsen ratings, with "Grey’s Anatomy" leading the way, according to TVBytheNumbers.com.

From 9-10, "Grey’s" had a 4.45 average in the adults 18-49 demo, ahead of NBC’s "The Office" and "30 Rock" with a 3.8 and 2.9 respectively. CBS’ "CSI" averaged a 3.25 in the 18-49 demo, while Fox’s "Fringe" remained close with a 2.65 average, and CW’s "Supernatural" rounded out the group with a 1.1.

Kicking off the night, Fox’s "Bones" had a 3.3 average 18-49 rating to remain on top from 8-9 p.m. CBS’ special "Surviving Survivor" netted a 2.4 mean rating. NBC’s "Community" and "Parks & Recreation" had 2.2 and 2.3, respectively. CW’s "Vampire Dairies" garnered a 1.85 average rating, and ABC’s legal drama managed just a 1.3 for the hour.

At 10 p.m., it was neck and neck with ABC’s "Private Practice" and CBS’s "The Mentalist." ABC won with a 3.35 average rating for the medical show, compared to 3.3 for CBS’ Simon Baker show. "Jay Leno" had a 1.15 rating.
