Scripps Networks will launch its Food Network spin-off, called the Cooking Channel, on May 31, The New York Times reports.
Among the shows on Cooking Channel—which will take the channel space of the Fine Living Network –will be new series from Food Network mainstays Bobby Flay and Rachael Ray.
The lineup of the new channel, the paper says, is an entertainment-oriented departure from the company’s originally announced plans to focus more on information and instructional programming.
