One of the colorful characters on MTV’s recently renewed reality series "Jersey Shore" has filed for a U.S. federal trademark for her nickname, according to The Smoking Gun.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, has decided that she would like to be the world’s only legal "Snooki.
Fellow "Jersey" cast member Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino went the same route earlier in the month, approaching the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a trademark on his nickname, the Smoking Gun also reports.
