Country music star Kenny Rogers has been in the music business for 50 years so he plans to celebrate by lining up his famous friends for a TV special, the Associated Press reports.
Dolly Parton, Allison Krauss, Lionel Richie and Wynonna Judd are already on board for the concert, which will tape on April 10 at Connecticut’s Foxwoods casino.
Which network it will air on will be announced later. Rogers’ TV movie “The Gambler” is still one of the genre’s highest-rated ever.
