John Wells, whose "ER" was a big hit for NBC and one of the most popular shows on TV ever, has received the go-ahead for another medical show pilot, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
This time he’ll be working for CBS. The show follows a medical team who travel the country helping out in crises. Wells’ last major show, "Southland," was dropped by NBC and picked up by TNT.
CBS also gave a pilot order to “Reagan’s Law,” about a family of New York City cops, that comes from Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green ("The Sopranos.”)
