‘Modern Family’ Takes Home WGA Honors for Best New Series Writing

The Writers Guild America Award for best new series writing went to ABC’s “Modern Family” on Saturday night.

But the top drama and comedy series winners were familiar names: the already much-honored “Mad Men” won in best drama, and “30 Rock” took home the top comedy award.
