Steven Spielberg’s "Nine Lives," a miniseries developed four years ago for SyFy that was quietly axed, may get its own shot at another life, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
NBC is taking another look at "Lives," which follows a group of people who can reconnect with loved ones in the afterlife through the use of near-death experiences. Spielberg serves as executive producer, along with Justin Favley, Les Bohem and Darryl Frank.
NBC is considering bringing the Spielberg project back as a broadcast series.
Bohem is also the writer of the project, and is looking to retool the script it for a wider broadcast audience.
