Tiger Woods will issue a statement to the media this Friday, Feb. 19th at 11 a.m. in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Bloomberg reports.

Woods intends to "apologize for his behavior, and discuss his past and plans for the future," the report says.

Bloomberg was among a small group of media outlets that was emailed this news, which came from Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, and his spokesman, Glenn Greenspan.

Bloomberg reported that the ground rules Woods and his handlers have set up for the meeting have stated that only a small group reporters will be allowed to attend, who will comprise a reporting pool. No questions will be allowed, and the encounter is not supposed to be videotaped.

Besides the reporters, the rest of the attendees will be comprised of "a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates," Bloomberg reported that the email said.

Then, in a telephone interview with Bloomberg, agent Steinberg said, "“Tiger feels as though It’s time to make amends and to publicly do that. This has all come together quite quickly.”
