It pays to be as truthful as you can on application forms, as rumors swirl that an "American Idol" contestant has been bounced from the show for failing to be upfront about his musical experience.
A source close to one of the "American Idol" contestants, Chris Golightly, told the Associated Press that he has been dumped from the show because of a problem with veracity. He has been replaced by Tim Urban, People reports, citing a Fox press release.
Reportedly, Golightly failed to disclose that he had a music contract, a no-no for "Idol" competitors whether or not the contract was being enforced.
