Actually this is a good thing. William Shatner is making the bold leap from playing a lawyer who says crazy things, to playing a dad who says crazy things.
CBS has greenlighted the comedy pilot "Shit My Dad Says" (hmm, we guess that’s just the working title) now that William Shatner has been cast as Dad, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series is being executive produced by "Will & Grace" creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, but it comes from unique source material, the Twitter account of creator Justin Halpern, who used the things his father says as fodder for his Tweets.
Since he began writing online in August, he’s signed up 1.16 million followers.
