‘Amish Grace’ Blesses Lifetime Movie Network with Top Ratings

The TV movie "Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy" gave Lifetime Movie Network its highest rating ever for an original movie, Multichannel News reports.

The original film debuted on Palm Sunday and drew a 3.8 household rating and 4.02 million viewers. Still, for younger women viewers, the movie trailed behind LMN’s April debut of "Natalee Holloway," the trade publication says.

"Amish Grace" stars Kimberly Williams-Paisley as an Amish mother who copes with the loss of her daughter in the 2006 Nickel Mines, Pa. schoolhouse shooting.

As previously reported, the authors whose book was the basis of this TV movie say they wish the movie rights had never been sold, out of respect to the victims of the crime the book depicts.

  1. I would just like to say, please leave these fine people alone. They do not want our interest, or our ideas. The fine people of the Amish belief are a good example of the proper way to live. We are not worthy of their notice.

  2. It seems that most of the commenters dont even read the post till the end.

  3. I just live how you run this blog, I wish that you posted more.
