ABC will recreate its “Dancing with the Stars” hit in an ice dancing version later this year, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The show will be produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, which produces “Dancing with the Stars” as well as the British "Strictly Ice Dancing." The new show will pair six celebrities with pro skaters.

Talks that this show might happen were first reported last October by our good friend and former TVWeek TV Editor Joe Adalian on TheWrap.
