CBS Nixed Tiger Woods Interview Over Time Restraints

When faced with the prospects of an interview with Tiger Woods, but only five minutes to ask him questions, CBS rejected the interview opportunity, reports The Huffington Post.

CBS, which will broadcast Tiger’s return to the game with the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, in April, didn’t approve of the time restrictions for the interview.

CBS Sports spokesperson LeslieAnne Wade said, "Depending on the specifics, we are interested in an extended interview without any restrictions on CBS."

ESPN and The Golf Channel agreed to the limitations and ran Tiger Woods’ interviews — five minutes each — on Sunday.
