CBS Pilot Casts ‘Sons of Tucson’ Star

A CBS comedy pilot has tapped a "Sons of Tucson" star  to play the main character’s best friend, the Hollywood Reporter says.

The star is Tyler Labine. The job comes after Labine initially turned down the role as his midseason series "Sons of Tucson" hadn’t yet aired.

But after "Tucson" underperformed on Fox, where it airs after the network’s animated series, Labine took the role on the CBS comedy pilot "True Love" when he was offered it again. He’s replacing Dan Fogler, who was earlier cast as the best friend of Henry, played by Jason Biggs. The Reporter says Labine’s casting is in second position to "Tucson."

  1. I wish ‘Reaper’ would return as well, sad to say, its not going to, all the actors on that series have since moved on. I really liked the charactor ‘Soc’ and I’m begining to like ‘Sons Of Tucson’, however, the writing seems to be missing something. Hope Tyler Labine finds his next vehicle works better. We’ll see?
