Jon Heder, the star of "Napoleon Dynamite," has quit a Comedy Central comedy produced by Will Ferrell,EW.com reports.
Heder’s representatives said in a statement that Heder, Comedy Central and Gary Sanchez Productions "have mutually decided to part ways over creative differences with the character."
Heder was slated to play young man who moves back home in the untitled comedy.
The production, which was slated to start this month, will probably be pushed back while Comedy Central seeks a new star. The series co-stars Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz of "Saturday Night Live."
Good. Heder was obnoxious on “Napoleon” and a better actor could easily be found around town.
