The return of Jay Leno to "The Tonight Show" Monday evening resulted in the show scoring a rating better than the norm for the Leno "Tonight" tenure, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The numbers, however, weren’t as good as Conan O’Brien’s debut last June with "The Tonight Show."
Last night, Leno drew 6.6 million viewers and a 1.6 Nielsen rating in adults 18-49, which is off 58 percent from Conan’s "Tonight" debut last year.
