Actress Lindsay Lohan is suing E*Trade Financial Corp for $100 million, claiming that a recent advertisement featuring a "milkaholic" baby named Lindsay is modeled after her, Reuters reports.
The suit claims that E*Trade illegally invoked Lohan’s likeness with the baby, and violated her right of privacy.
The suit, filed Monday in Nassau County in New York, also demanded an immediate stop to the running of the ads, and for all copies to be give to Lohan.
The thrust of Lohan’s case, according to a statement given to the New York Post by Lohan’s lawyer Stephanie Ovadia, is all in the name. Ovadia said Lindsay is on the same first-name recognition as Oprah or Madonna.
