Controversial NFL quarterback Michael Vick, currently with the Philadelphia Eagles, is joining a new all-pro team to play football.

Spike TV has recruited Vick to the cast of “Pros vs. Joes.” Vick, who served time in federal prison for his involvement in a dog-fighting/gambling ring, joins other pro football players include fellow Eagle Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens, Antonio Gates, Warrick Dunn, Isaac Bruce, Derrick Brooks and Jeff Garcia on one squad.

There’s also a basketball legends team comprised of Hakeem Olajuwon, Chris Mullin, Kenny Smith, Brent Barry, Isaiah Rider and Rick Fox.

The premise of “Pros vs. Joes” is to show regular guys playing true pros in skill competitions.
