NBC Sports, home to some of the most watched sporting events in U.S. television history, will be inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame on April 12, NAB announced today.

Dick Ebersol, chairman of NBC Universal Sports & Olympics, will accept the award on behalf of the network at the NAB Show Television Luncheon on the 12th in Las Vegas.

Ebersol has been credited with bringing the Winter and Summer Olympics as a staple to NBC, after he became president of NBC Sports in 1989.
