The Pew Project for Excellence in Journalism is out with its annual "The State of the News Media Report."
A quick glance shows that the only delivery methods of news that have increased in numbers of viewers and users, year over year, are cable and online.
Furthermore, results indicate that people like a ad-model of news delivery better than one where they have to pay for the news.
To read a good analysis of the report, there’s Bill Mitchell’s Poynter Online piece if you click here.
The entire "The State of the News Media Report" is available online at no charge. A good place to start is the Overview of Key Findings.
Good read. I saved the page for future visit.
