Discovery Communications’ Planet Green is launching a three-hour primetime programming block which it is calling “Verge,” reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The block will launch March 29 and will include, among other shows, “Future Food”; “Living with Ed,” starring Ed Begley, Jr.; and “Conviction Kitchen,” in which ex-cons launch a fancy restaurant.

According to the report, " ‘Verge is encompassing the broadening of Planet Green, which is changing from informational, DYI programming to great storytelling and great characters,’ Planet Green president and general manager Laura Michalchyshyn said.
