FX’s new "Justified" pulled in lots of viewers, mostly men, in its Tuesday premiere, the L.A. Times reports.

The show about a U.S. Marshal drew nearly 4.2 million viewers, giving it the network’s second-highest premiere, behind the 4.8 million who checked out the first episode of “The Shield" in 2002.

Also on Tuesday night, according to the Times, " ‘Bad Girls Club’ reunion show scored a record 2.66 million viewers. Of that more than 1 million were in the women 18-34 demographic."

On the other side of the ledger, ABC’s "Lost," which is wrapping up this season, had 8.9 viewers on Tuesday night, a low for the season.
