HBO’s short-lived series “Rome” may be resurrected one more time, EW.com reports, citing sources.

A script has been written by the show’s creator and executive producer Bruno Heller for Morning Light Productions, which is handling development and will produce the film if plans go forward. No director has signed, but many of the show’s stars are expected to take part.

HBO isn’t expected to be involved.
