Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin took in a double dose of "American Idol" last night, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Palin sat with Jay Leno on Tuesday’s "Tonight Show," which featured last year’s "Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert. The LA Times points out that Palin, an outspoken critic of gay marriage, was seen nowhere on-camera with the openly gay Lambert. However, fellow guest Shawn White and Leno congratulated Lambert after his performance.
After Leno, Palin zipped over to catch a taping of "American Idol," with "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest posting on Twitter "In the audience tonight at idol? @sarahpalinusa and her kids…" Palin wasn’t seen on-camera during the episode.
