Spike TV Tells ‘Players’ to Hit the Showers

After just three weeks on the air, Spike TV has removed the comedy series "Players" from the schedule, reports The Futon Critic.

There are seven episodes remaining for "Players," which is about two bickering brothers trying to run a sports bar, and it’s unclear if they will ever air.

Reruns of "Blue Mountain State" will run in "Players’" time slot, Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m., for the rest of March. Beginning April 6, repeats of "Deadliest Warrior" will take over the slot.
