ESPN will be able to braodcast, live, Tiger Woods teeing off at The Masters golf tournament next Thursday, April 8, but it cannot broadcast, live, his entire round, reports the New York Times.
The Masters is aware of the high interest in Woods return, but they have been stingy about giving ESPN full live coverage of Woods’ play.
The Masters is only giving live access to Woods’ first tee shot, giving ESPN only a few live glimpses into Tiger’s return. Everything else will need to be on tape delay, unless it happens during ESPN’s 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Eastern live broadcast window.
Tee times will be posted on Tuesday.
