David Lawenda, Univison’s president of ad sales, said the network has passed the 90 percent sales mark for the world’s most popular month-long event, which begins June 11, reports B&C

Despite the near sell-out, Lawenda called the sales effort for the event in South Africa “a difficult sell," given the state of the economy. The network wouldn’t comment on how much spots are going for or the amount of revenue the event is bringing in.
