New Talk Show Gets ‘Firm Go’ for U.S. Syndication

The Canadian talk show "Steven and Chris" is making a trip south of the border to the United States as PPI Releasing preps the show for syndication in the U.S., the distribution company announced today.

"Steven and Chris," starring Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman, discuss fashion, design, cooking, fitness and personal relationships with experts. The show is renewed for a fourth season on the CBC, and the newest season will be shot in high-definition. 

PPI said it is making a phased roll-out of the show across the country beginning in the fall.  

PPI co-founder Ritch Colbert said in a statement, "Our unique partnership with the CBC allows us to go forward in syndication with a truly innovative business model. Our affiliates will benefit from the show’s ground-breaking, proven ability to drive interactivity and multi-platform viewership to their stations in a fresh, exciting new way.”
