Alloy Entertainment, the company that created ‘Gossip Girls’ and ‘Vampire Diaries’ has hired an executive at NBC who has specialized in comedy, Deadline.com reports.
The executive is Gina Girolamo, and is part of a restructuring at Alloy to create separate television and film development teams.
Girolamo had spent 10 years at NBC, helping develop programs such as "30 Rock" and "My Name is Earl." Alloy has a first-look TV deal at Warner Bros. Television.
The show is called Gossip Girl. No s. Geez.
