David Hasselhoff To Once Again Become Young and Restless

Before primetime success in "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch" and "America’s Got Talent," David Hasselhoff spent six years as Dr. Snapper Foster on successful daytime soap opera.

And now he’s heading back to daytime, reports Entertainment Weekly. Hasselhoff has agreed to appear on a story arc that will air in mid-June, involving the Foster family on his old soap, "The Young and the Restless."

 Coinciding with Hasselhoff’s reprise is the return tothe soap by Julianna McCarthy and Wings Hauser’s as Hoff’s character’s mother and brother, respectively.

In a statement, Hasselhoff said of his return, “Being asked to come back to appear in several episodes gives me a chance to say thanks, as I have an amazing amount of respect and heartfelt emotion for Bill, his family and my time on ‘Young and the Restless.’ I just hope I can remember all those lines.”
