Discovery Channel’s "Deadliest Catch" drew the biggest audience ever for the show during its sixth season premiere, the Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed blog reports.
The episode was watched by 4.6 million viewers, many of whom likely tuned it to watch the departed Capt. Phil Harris, who passed away in February after a stroke.
The show was the most-watched series on cable on Tuesday evening. The lead-in didn’t help new series "Construction Intervention," which plunged 65% to 1.6 million viewers from the audience watching "Deadliest Catch."
