Michael C. Hall’s wife, Jennifer Carpenter, says the "Dexter" star has returned to work and is "fully recovered" from Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the Associated Press reports.

Hall said in January he was undergoing treatment for the disease, a cancer that attacks the lymph nodes.

In "Dexter," Hall portrays a serial killer who works as a blood splatter expert for the Miami police department and targets other serial killers, while Carpenter plays his sister, a detective in the department who is unaware of Dexter’s secret life. The show’s fifth season is scheduled to air later this year.
