Actor John Forsythe, famous for his role as oil tycoon Blake Carrington on "Dynasty," died Thursday night, the Hollywood Reporter reports. He was 92. 

Forsythe’s TV credits also included the leading role in the 1957 sitcom "Bachelor Father," and as the voice of the unseen Charlie on "Charlie’s Angels." 

Forsythe passed away due to complications from pneumonia after a year-long fight with cancer.
