Yet another cable reporter makes the move to broadcast, as CBS picks up a former CNBC reporter. 

News reporter Rebecca Jarvis is taking on the role as newsreader on the Saturday edition of CBS’s "The Early Show," reports B&C.

Jarvis left CNBC last fall and has been off air because of a six-month non-compete clause in her NBCU contract.

Jarvis will appear on "The Early Show" this Saturday.
