NBC has decided to give the a cappella singing competition series "The Sing-Off" a second second season. Eight episodes have been ordered from Sony Pictures Television, the article says.

The music show, in which contestants perform in themed groups, was given a brief run last December where it did well in the ratings up against Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance."
