With the future of NBC’s medical drama "Trauma" unsure, one of its stars has signed up for another doctor series, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Anastasia Griffith has joined the cast of USA Network’s "Royal Pains."

She’ll be playing Dr. Emily Peck, a new MD in the Hamptons, who will provide some competition for Hank Med, the concierge medical service run by star Mark Feuerstein’s Dr. Hank Lawson. Griffith will appear in the June 3 premiere of "Royal Pains."
