MTV’s "Real World: D.C." drew 1.1 million viewers during its finale on Wednesday, ranking it as the least-watched "Real World" finale in series history, the Washington Post reports.
The D.C. iteration of the show failed to attracted viewers during the entire season, with the three least-watched episodes of the franchise coming from this season.
The focus on this year’s "World" were on early 20-somethings pushing for change in Washington. That didn’t connect with MTV viewers, who want the outrageousness of "Jersey Shore" more than idealistic 20-somethings, the Post says.
