Fox pre-historic drama "Terra Nova" has "unofficially" been given a 13-episode order and tapped "Star Trek" producer Brannon Braga as executive producer and showrunner, Deadline.com reports.

Braga is joining several other executive producers, including Craig Silverstein, Kelly Marcel, Aaron Kaplan, Steven Spielberg, Peter Chernin, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Katherine Pope, on the program, which tracks a family living 100 years in the future who time-travel back to a prehistoric Earth ruled by dinosaurs.

In related news, EW.com’s The Ausiello Files reports Kyle Chandler of "Friday Night Lights" has been made an offer to star in "Terra Nova."
