‘Supernanny’ Mulls Calling it Quits, Although ABC Says ‘Not Quite’

Jo Frost, the star of "Supernanny" who tells American families how to get their bratty children to behave, tells Variety that she’s thinking about ending her stint on the show.

"It feels like the right time for me to end my reign as the Supernanny. I’ve lived out of a suitcase for the past five years, visiting 47 states for the show. It’s time to settle down in one place for the time being," Frost said.

But ABC said that no decision has been made, and that the network has already placed a 13-episode order for the 2010-11 season. Frost may be under contract for the following season. Still, ratings for the reality show have slipped recently, drawing a 1.1 rating among the 18-to-49 year-old demographic during its March 12 show.
