Many hosts of news programs ranging from CNN’s Larry King to Barbara Walters of "The View" are refusing to have Oprah Winfrey’s unauthorized biographer on their shows for fear of offending their friend, USA Today reports. "All said very openly that it was because of Oprah," writer Kitty Kelley says.
However, the article says, Kelley has been booked on the "Today" show and on Bill O’Reilly’s show this week to talk about "Oprah: A Biography."
Kelley, known for digging up tidbits her subjects would rather kept hidden, says that despite rumors of Winfrey having a relationship with best friend Gayle King, she believes Winfrey is "just asexual. She’s poured all of her energies into her career. And if she is [gay], she is never ever, ever going to come out. So relax, people."
