After winning the ratings race in the first quarter, USA Network outpaced its ad-supported cable competition in the first week of April, Mediaweek reports.

The network averaged 3.14 million viewers in primetime, beating runner-up Fox News Channel’s 1.96 million viewers. USA also won in the three core television demographics, although it was neck-to-neck with TBS in the 18-to-34 demo. USA aired six of the 10 most-watched ad-supported cable shows, with Monday’s "WWE Raw" winning the week with 5.5 million total viewers.
