The president/CEO of Viacom, Phillipe Dauman, has been given a new contract that will keep him in his current position until December 2016, reports B&C.

Dauman has been at the helm during a strong period for Viacom, and the board credits him with being responsible for Viacom’s boost in cash flow, margins, and debt restructuring.

While contract terms aren’t available yet, Dauman’s salary will be tied to performance-based metrics. In 2008, Dauman made nearly $22.4 million, with 90% of that salary made up of performance-based payment, like bonuses and increased value of Viacom stock.
