WGN America, probably best known as the satellite programming home of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls, has a new senior vice president of affiliate sales.
He’s Kevin Connor, WGN has announced. Connor was previously the company’s VP of Finance and Administration.
According to a written statement, "In his new role, Connor is responsible for managing affiliate relations and marketing, ensuring the achievement of distribution goals within the cable, satellite and telco industries for WGN America. He will remain in WGN America’s New York office, where he will report to Julio Marenghi, Executive Vice President of Sales and Distribution."
WGN is owned by the Tribune Co.
