CBS Goes With ‘$#*!’ Over ‘$#!+’ In New Shatner Sitcom

May 25, 2010  •  Post A Comment

CBS’ "$#*! My Dad Says," starring William Shatner, has had a long task of deciding how to label the show, considering that the first word in the title is an expletive, Variety reports.

Based off the Twitter feed "Shit My Dad Says," CBS has officially opted to use "$#*!," and pronounce it "bleep," to describe the first word in the title.

The phrase "$#!+" was turned down, as it was believed to be too similar in look to the word "shit."

  1. You can say “shit” on Muchmusic and MTV in Canada. No one seems to care.

  2. I am glad CBS is focusing on the important issues… LOL

  3. I’m glad John in Oklahoma is not having kids.

  4. What they should actually call the show is “Shat My Dad Says.”

  5. The “F” word is often uttered on prime-time in Canada… I’ve heard it on CBC and other channels… What’s the big deal?

  6. shat is past tense, in a sentence “I believe I shat myself back there”

  7. Just because it IS doesn’t mean is should be. Ever heard of social responsibility or socializing future generations to create a productive society?

  8. S#@+(ner) My Dad Says?”

  9. Kudos to you! This is a really good blog here and I love your style of writing. How did you get so good at blogging?
